Ordinal is a Toronto-based studio that partners with architects, interior designers, developers, and project teams to design and implement wayfinding systems for the built environment.

Led by Sasan Moradian, the studio is built on a background in visual communication and interdisciplinary design. Ordinal brings dedicated expertise to wayfinding and signage, with experience across higher education, civic and cultural, workplace, mixed-use, residential, and public environments.

Understanding a site, its users, and the project’s goals is the foundation of our work. We balance function, accessibility, and visual clarity to create wayfinding systems that feel like a natural part of the architecture.

Our straightforward approach guides every project, from discovery and site analysis through planning, design, documentation, and implementation. We work closely with the project team throughout, ensuring that each decision supports a clear, intuitive experience and that the final installation reflects the design intent.
